Teacher Wanted

An Old Man Meets A Young Man Who Asks...

“Do you remember me?”

And the old man says no. Then the young man tells him he was his student, And the teacher asks:

“What do you do, what do you do in life?”

The young man answers:

“Well, I became a teacher.”

“Ah, how good, like me?” Asks the old man.

“Well, yes. In fact, I became a teacher because you inspired me to be like you.”

The old man, curious, asks the young man at what time he decided to become a teacher. And the young man tells him the following story:

“One day, a friend of mine, also a student, came in with a nice new watch, and I decided I wanted it.

I stole it, I took it out of his pocket.

Shortly after, my friend noticed the his watch was missing and immediately complained to our teacher, who was you.

Then you addressed the class saying, ‘This student's watch was stolen during classes today. Whoever stole it, please return it.’

I didn't give it back because I didn't want to.

You closed the door and told us all to stand up and form a circle.

You were going to search our pockets one by one until the watch was found.

However, you told us to close our eyes, because you would only look for his watch if we all had our eyes closed.

We did as instructed.

You went from pocket to pocket, and when you went through my pocket, you found the watch and took it. You kept searching everyone's pockets, and when you were done you said ‘open your eyes. We have the watch.’

You didn't tell on me and you never mentioned the episode. You never said who stole the watch either. That day you saved my dignity forever. It was the most shameful day of my life.

But this is also the day I decided not to become a thief, a bad person, etc. You never said anything, nor did you even scold me or take me aside to give me a moral lesson.

all right so if I go to the store and there's something for 85 cents and after

tax it ends up being 96 cents can I buy with this dollar bill okay all right so

what if I ball the dollar bill up think

about it now.

Like I just bought the dollar bill Oh

like so we can't be worth a dollar nowit's probably worth like 95 cents right

how much do you think it's worth adollar listen listen y'all gotta pay

attention I just balled it up soclearly it's not worth a dollar anymore?

All right all right so maybe what if I step on it what if I stomp it

I just stomped it how much is it worth now maybe 65 cents 68 cents it still

worth a dollar. 

Okay what if I brought it up put it by stuff on it and then I put

it in the trash can and this scene here with some trash and it's around some

beer and some gum and a bunch of the nasty stuff and some guy off the street

pulls the dollar I'll unfold it how much is the work now maybe eighty two cents

and me come on at least ninety two cents it's okay hours - what if I balled it up

what if I step on it what if I put it in trash and then watch this..

I teared a half think about it now right

how much is the worth now a dollar I can tape it what will swim over there wait

wait wait a second wait a second 

I just

I just balled it up I just stepped on it

I put it in trash I pulled it out then
I tore in a half and you mean to tell me I

could pick the dollar up I could wipe it

off and I could put some tape around it and it still worth a dollar then 

why if this dollar doesn't lose its worth there was value then why do you feel like you

lost you person value because many of you feel like you just stepped on you

feel like you've been pushed aside you feel like you've been defending you felt

like you've been talked about you feel like you've been abused like the ones

took from you someone hurts you somebody took advantage of you and beat down the

sides occurred you feel like you've lost some of your value

that this dollars just has birthday value because there are some in years

ago who put value over the slide it says no matter what happens to it

that you were created and you're born and you here and you have life and you

have purpose if you have value and though you've gone through some hard

cons and though you've experiencing some
